Many US PD works will be PD in Europe also.</p> <p>A question: did Edith Piaf WRITE those songs? If she did I find it hard to believe it is PD anywhere in the world.</p> <p>US PD is special because if a work is first published 75 years ago, it's PD. Not so in the EU.
