There is one thing that will always eat people up. The thing that the whole world struggle to wrap its fingers around on. That thing is called friendship.
Friendship is a pressure point. It does not matter who you are. The questions and answers remain the same. We all work hard to preserve it, to nurture it. when it is over we cry natural tears, crocodile tears, or we express our anger poetically. The impatient kill for it. It is hard because we are human. We make mistakes. We say and do obnoxious things for love. For without love there is no friendship.
History will tell you that Brutus and Casca murdered Caesar because they believed if he could be a king, he will change all the freedom that they enjoyed so much. So did other Romans to Jesus Christ.
I have no gripe with any one nor did i had during the preparation and submission of this article.
I was just shocked by the behaviour of a lady that was introduced to me by her father September 2008. She works for a magazine that I adore so much. I am even a subscriber. She gave me her business card to contact her. Some thing in her just did not tick, maybe. I called her several times. No reply.
She must have thought that due to my good looks, I might have wanted to be in love with her, or maybe she felt that I was beneath her due to the type of job that I am currently doing.
I then saw her on a daily newspaper picture with her sidekick, Moatlhodi. The name means judge. I felt judged in rushing to be friends with someone I did not really know. She is definitely the one that got away ( she is not a fish though). I called her editor years back with a proposal while she worked for another magazine. She turned down my offer. Now, that makes two times two bad luck. Media workers we love you. We are not stalkers as you always assume.
