Distributing PDF and scanned books-Legal???

    Can I get CC license for scanned copy of a book of a big author like SAMS?

    You can't reproduce any copyrighted document as your own without risking action from the original author or publisher.

    I think if you do that most big authors wouldn't like somebody scanning their work. I am not sure but I think that's illegal.

    I don't think it is allowed to distribute PDF or scanned books without permission of Author.
