Hello. I am new to CC. Thank you for working on this cause.

I want to start an idea sharing website where users post their ideas under a CC attribution license.

The ideas will improve existing products and services or propose new ones.

For example, an idea would be: "soya milk in flights to/from vegetarian countries"

Other example idea can be "soya milk in Starbucks coffee"

I understand that an idea itself is not protected by copyright, but the description (the actual wording) is.

I understand that an idea cannot be patented. In UK Intellectual Property Office website: "Ideas and concepts for inventions are not patentable"

Then an idea can't be patented (but an invention can) and can't be copyrighted (but the description can).

Then, as the description of the idea is copyright-able, the users can submit it as a creative commons. Is this right?

Do you know someone who can help me? A CC-experienced lawyer?

    Thank you

    Victor
