I've published on ccMixter some remix I've done, including "Otra Vez (sight mix)" [1], which is released under Creative Commons BY-NC 3.0.
This remix was used into a short trailer on CBC website (it's the canadian public broadcasting network) [2] , and published on their YouTube channel [3], without any kind of attribution, neither in the trailer nor in the introduction text.
I think this is a Creative Commons violation, even if someone have linked that video into ccMixter [4], because there's no attribution outside ccMixter at all. Also, I'm not sure that a public broadcasting company is entitled to non-commercial licensing, because they have ads in the same page the trailer is embedded. Other people on ccMixter as well [5] thinks this is not quite regular...
I've written a comment on the CBC blog [2] and I've tried to do the same on their youtube channel, asking for explaination. I'm right in interpreting this as a Creative Commons violation?
Thank you for your help!
